From the streets of Puerto Rico & Cuba comes the inaugural National Salsa Day for Brisbane!
A free, all-ages, alcohol-free day to celebrate over 20-years of Salsa music & dance culture in Brisbane.

With the generous support of Brisbane Council, National Salsa Day is introducing its 1st ever event in Queensland in the very' heart of Brisbane'.
Albert street will come alive and be transformed into a 'Salsa Capitol' with over 7 hours of Latin music and dance to entertain and inspire you
to be involved in its seductive beat.

Featuring live demonstrations, free dance workshops throughout the day by some of
Brisbane's leading Salsa dance schools.
A special workshop on Cuban folkloric music & dance by professional
Brisbane-based Cuban artist: Israel Ortiz Castellanos, live music from local musicians,
free music and dance giveaways, as well as of course - social dancing in the street!
